Today I visited my cardiologist and she was so excited at my running. She said that she wanted to make me her poster person for cardiac bypass surgery recovery. She gave me a full green light to run the Honolulu Marathon in December and thus far has been the largest contributor towards my goal of $5,000. Yes I am excited and pumped up from her words and encouragement.
